Day- 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be met by a representative from your trekking agency who will transfer you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to explore the city and prepare for your trek.
Day- 2
Flight to Nepalgunj (150m)
After an early breakfast, you will take a short domestic flight to Nepalgunj, a city in the southern part of Nepal close to the Indian border. You will spend the night in a hotel in Nepalgunj.
Day-3
Flight to Jumla (2,370m) and trek to Danphe Lagna (3,500m)
After an early breakfast, you will take a domestic flight to Jumla, a small town in western Nepal. From Jumla, you will begin your trek by heading towards the village of Danphe Lagna. The trail passes through beautiful forests and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You will spend the night in a tea house in Danphe Lagna.
Day- 4
Trek to Chautha (2,770m)
Today's trek will take you through a beautiful landscape of rhododendron forests, along the Tila Khola river, and up a steep hill to reach the village of Chautha. You will spend the night in a tea house in Chautha.
Day- 5
Trek to Dhotu (2,380m)
The trail continues through forests and fields, offering beautiful views of the mountains, until you reach the village of Dhotu. You will spend the night in a tea house in Dhotu.
Day- 6
Trek to Rara Lake (2,990m)
Today you will reach the highlight of the trek – the beautiful Rara Lake. The trail follows the Khatyar Khola river and climbs up to reach the lake. You will have the rest of the day to explore the area and enjoy the beautiful views. You will spend the night in a tea house near the lake.
Day-7
Rest day at Rara Lake
Today is a rest day, and you can spend the day exploring the area around the lake. You can take a walk to the nearby Murma Top for beautiful sunrise or sunset views or just relax by the lake.
Day- 8
Trek to Ghorasingha (3,190m)
The trail follows the northern side of the lake and climbs up to a ridge, offering beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. You will then descend through forests to reach the village of Ghorasingha. You will spend the night in a tea house in Ghorasingha.
Day- 9
Trek to Sinja Valley (2,440m)
Today's trek takes you through forests and fields, passing several villages along the way, until you reach the Sinja Valley. The valley is known for its ancient ruins and historical significance. You will spend the night in a tea house in Sinja.
Day-10
Trek to Jaljala Chaur (3,270m)
The trail climbs up steeply through forests and meadows to reach Jaljala Chaur, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You will spend the night in a tea house in Jaljala Chaur.
Day-11
Trek to Jumla (2,370m)
Today's trek is mostly downhill, passing through forests and villages until you reach Jumla. You will spend the night in a tea house in Jumla.
Day-12
Flight to Nepalgunj and then to Kathmandu
After an early breakfast, you will take a domestic flight from Jumla to Nepalgunj and then another flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to explore the city or relax. You can add another problem or farewell dinner will be done before the departure day.
Day-13
Departure day
Today is the last day of your trip, and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home or to your next destination.

  • Accommodation and Food:As the trek is remote, the accommodation and food options are limited. You will be staying in basic teahouses and eating simple meals. It is a good idea to bring some snacks and energy bars to supplement your diet.
  • Trekking Gear: You will need to bring appropriate clothing and gear for the trek, including sturdy hiking boots, warm clothing, a down jacket, a sleeping bag, and a backpack. It is also a good idea to bring a water purification system.
